'Latinx bodies in Dancing and dance history'
"This paper regards how Latin (o/a/x) bodies have been included in dance companies, dance representation, and dance history. As a Latin American dance researcher and art historian, I am proposing how it is possible to give voice to those silenced bodies through visual culture and the study of dance representation through history. In this presentation, I will focus on 20th-century dance photography and how it was portrayed and pictured in press, critics, and dance historiography."
